2012 in review: Looking back though I said I wouldn’t…

Normally I’m that kind of badass people refusing to look back or to make New Years resolution. But this was way too nice to ignore!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 10 years to get that many views.

If you don’t look back, you can’t see your way forward. It’s when you can’t stop looking back that makes it a problem. Happy New Year!

  2. Eh, you’re stil a badass.

Happy new year, NBI! Can’t wait to hear about your successes in 2013!

  3. Good job!!!
    Happy New Year!!!!

  4. Nice work girl! You always write about the good stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

PS. I see your name is Astrid! A beautiful name, nice and old fashioned.

    • Thank you Lily!
Haha, the great reveal hm? ๐Ÿ˜‰ I didn’t expect anyone to find it old fashioned, but I don’t take it as an insult or something. Let’s say it’s classy old fashioned perhaps ;).

      • Yeah! It is classy! I think of my name as old fashioned, I guess because I never heard it. It wasn’t very popular. Now everyone is naming their kids Lily and I hate it! Is your name popular in Belgium?

      • Currently I know like 4 other people from this area sharing my name… It’s not very common but just a little.
I really like your name! It’s simple yet beautiful and very classy :). Stupid to share your name, isn’t it? I’d prefer to be more unique. Like having a quite normal name that just isn’t overused :).

      • Yeah I never hear your name around here so I think that’s why I like it so much! So refreshing to hear.
        Thanks girl!

      • Woohoo! Maybe I should move over to Canada ;).

  5. Good Job, Nice Work…….. ๐Ÿ™‚
